the mARkeT: a matchmaking mixer!
Posted on October 17 2016
Hi friends!
Just wanting to share a great event I will be participating in this coming Saturday...
The Quincy Art Center is hosting a fundraiser mixer to allow artists and collectors to meet and collaborate on a commissioned piece of art. This is a fabulous opportunity for you to obtain unique and meaningful art for your homes, while also giving back to the community. Never collected art before?! GREAT! This is a perfect opportunity to learn what subjects, styles and local artists you may like... all in a casual evening of mingling and fun at the Art Center!
Art will be available in levels of $250, $500, $1,000 and $2,000+. Collectors will commit to a commission at the event this coming Saturday. A formal reveal party will be hosted Saturday, February 25 from 7-10pm.
The incredible line-up of local artists include:
- Brenda Beck-Fischer, watercolor
- Jennifer Bock-Nelson, detailed nature/ drive series painting
- Steve Bohnstedt, fine art documentary style photography/ mixed media
